Fundamentally, Holistic Tree Care is a passionate team of qualified arborists dedicated to the care and preservation of trees. Our love for trees extends into a passion for gardens and the important role they play in enriching all of our lives.

Ben, the owner of Holistic Tree Care, entered the horticultural trade straight after high school. Initially apprenticing at the Royal Melbourne Botanic Gardens and learning from an expert team of horticulturists there, his love of gardens and appreciation for their benefits to individuals and communities grew. After completing that apprenticeship and discovering arboriculture during his internship with the arborists at the RMBG, he continued his horticultural journey to become a qualified arborist. Over the years, he has worked for some very reputable companies in Melbourne (and one in the interior of BC, Canada), gaining experience in world-class gardens and a variety of private and public sites.

He holds Certificate 3 qualifications from Melbourne Polytechnic in both Horticulture Parks and Gardens and Horticulture Arboriculture, as well as a Graduate Certificate (AQF 8) in Arboriculture from the University of Melbourne.
